The Parkland Healthy Start program works to reduce infant deaths, pre-term and low-weight births. The program supports mothers before, during and after pregnancy.

Understanding Infant Loss and Finding Support
Have you, or someone you know, experienced the loss of a baby?
Dallas County Fetal-Infant Mortality Review’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of women, infants and their families who have faced a pregnancy loss of at least 20 weeks gestation or the death of their infant up to one year old.
The program provides:
- Support in a private setting
- A chance to share about your pregnancy and the loss of your baby
- A connection to other mothers and families that understand your loss
- Support for your grief
- Referrals for needed services
